At Revido, we partnered with Swap to transform the eCommerce returns experience. eCommerce brands often face a significant challenge: returns. Swap aimed to address this issue with an innovative exchange-first return process and a return-based financing solution. Our goal was to help Swap assist brands in retaining revenue and scaling.

Building a Comprehensive Funding Portal with a Bubble-Powered Shopify App

Swap's vision required a complex application with integrations to Shopify, shipping, billing, and Plaid for underwriting. This application had two components: a white-labeled, exchange-powered returns portal for customers, and detailed analytics plus financing solutions for stores.
While building Swap with a traditional full-stack development team could have taken 12-18 months, our low-code/no-code expertise at Revido allowed us to build the first version in just 12 weeks.

Success Since Building with Revido

Since our collaboration, Swap has successfully onboarded high-growth brands in the UK with annual revenues of $40M+ using their returns and financing solutions. They are currently in the process of raising a seed round. We continued to work with Swap to provide a successful handoff to their internal developers while building features as the technical extension of their team for a few weeks after.

Development

The development phase prioritized features based on user needs and project requirements, including gamification elements for retirees. Collaboration with developers, designers, and stakeholders was crucial for efficient feature implementation and scalable architecture.
